Ever since the first release of the magnificent Corvette C1 back in '53, the Corvette has evolved in motor size, power, and options. The all-new C7 took a giant leap from the C6, with a 55 HP increase and more than a 70 TQ increase. The car also has a new body style that makes it slice through air like butter (not to mention it looks really cool) . All the new options for interior and exterior for the year has made this new Corvette a revolutionary vehicle. Consumer Rating of a perfect 5 out of 5 for a perfect car.

The '93 Civic and earlier models were outstanding with gas mileage. These cars would run 350-410 miles on a single tank of gas! While the HP sounds low, the cars are very easy to tune to crank out more power. The cars might seem small and inferior to a 03 Civic, but the cars are just as big and even faster/ The consumer rating is a very solid 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The '04 Audi S4 is an outstanding car that beats most of it's rival competitors. With a 4.2L V-8 pounding with 340 HP, it has great power that also comes with comfort, reliability, and luxury. Audi also outdid themselves by bringing in a fast sedan, a family wagon, and a weekend convertible. The car gets a perfect 5 out of 5 consumer rating, the only drawback being the small rear seat.

Cheap, fun, and fast cars #1: 2005-2007 Ford Mustang GT

Hey there guys! I'm putting up a special post for you people who love custom and fast cars.
The first one will be a 2005-2007 Mustang GT. These cars naturally come with a 4.6L V-8, which produces 300 HP stock. They can be bought for $13,000 or more, but they are great cars, saving 15-23 MPG.

Ok, so you have the car, and what now? Well, it is time to mod! For those of you on a budget, look for a cool-looking hood scoop, a cold-air intake, and find a cheap short-throw shifter. Then watch your car fly off. And, if you can't find a cheap, loud, and HP boosting exhaust, just go to your closest Autozone and buy some exhaust tips.

For those of you who have money to spend, I'd suggest an upgraded computer, single or twin turbos, cat-back or titanium exhaust, a body kit, short-throw shifter, platinum clutch, some weight loss (maybe lighter weight body), some new tires, and some nice spark plugs.

Now, if you want an awesome road and track car, put all the above mods, but you also might want a new engine. Maybe an old engine for a foxbody Mustang or a 490 cubic inch, 7.5L from an F-250. Why not a big-block from the 60's or 70's? Also, take out the A/C, radio, rear seats, and many other un-necessary things. But, if you want some music, you can either keep the radio, or find a huge boombox from your local Flea Market. Racing tires, new transmission, engine tuning, upgraded carburetor/fuel injectors, fuel system upgrades, and many other things.

Stock Mustangs should be at 300 HP, lightly-modded should be 310-330, heavier mods can make it reace 350-450 (maybe 500), and racing should be much higher than that. Try to get it 550+ if you want it road and track tuned.

The 2003 Passat is a great vehicle, though some not so much. Overall good MPG, healthy power, and plenty of features, comfort, and room. The Passat comes in a variety of models and engines, and comes in sedan or wagon body styles. Some came out extremely reliable, reaching 300,000 miles or more, but some have broken down at 120,000 miles. And the work required to replace parts in the engine bay is a headache. Overall consumer rating is a solid 4.5.

Talladega: Race 6 of the Chase, Will Another Underdog Win or a Chase Driver?

Talladega. A monstrous 2.67 superspeedway, where drivers can exceed 200 MPH. The Chase has been very exciting so far, and at Charlotte, a non-Chase driver finally won. Not only did Brad Keselowski, driver of the no.2 Ford Fusion for Penske Racing, get his first win, it was the first time in a  long time that a non-Chase driver won a race in the Chase. But Talladega is much different. While Johnson took both of the Daytona races, David Ragan got his 2nd career win at the first Talladega race of the season. Front Row Motorsports had a 1-2 finish, with David Gilliland finishing runner-up to his teammate. Many fans are poised for another underdog to win, such as Jeff Burton, Scott Speed, Cole Whitt, Tony Raines, Michael McDowell... even Michael Waltrip is in the field. But will it be another Chase victory for the likes of Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, or Johnson? You'll have to wait for the race to find out! Mercedes-Benz has made extremely reliable and durable cars, as well as being luxurious. The SL55 AMG is no exception, being a great mid-2000's luxury coupe. Not only having luxurious upholstery and electric features, the car also features a 5.4 liter V-8, coming standard with a supercharger, which produces a massive 493 HP at the wheels. Being a great car that can last hundreds of thousands of miles, this car gets a perfect 5 out of 5 consumer rating.

JGR's chances of a championship

Joe Gibbs has had much success, and difficulty, with the new year and new Gen-6 car. While early on, the cars seemed to have much potential with the Toyota-supplied TRD engines, the low reliability has made many drivers, not just Gibbs, end a race with blown engines. Mid-season, TRD supplied much more reliable engines, but at the cost of much lower power. Now, as the Chase is through 2 races, TRD has developed an extremely powerful engine, and has kept reliability. As Matt Kenseth, driver of the 20, continues to dominate with 7 wins this season, his chances of winning the championship are great. Same thing goes for his teammate, Kyle Busch, driver of the 18. Sitting in 2nd with 4 wins, he also can be the new Sprint Cup Champion.

The '99 Trailblazer is a great small SUV. Comfortable, roomy, and good driving capabilities make it a great car. It can also haul trailers and go off-road, with the 4WD on. Gas is quickly spent on this one, so it is not recommended for constant, long driving trips, and more of a get-and-go car. Small malfunctions and gas guzzling gives the car a 3.5 consumer rating.

The car saved more than the old one, and overall, is a great car. Consumer average rating of 4.5 stars.

The 2009 Corvette ZR-1 is a tremendously powerful car. The 6.2L V-8 engine provides extremely quick and nimble acceleration and top speed. The 0-62 MPH acceleration is 3.4 seconds, did the quarter mile in 11.3 seconds, and had a top speed of 205 MPH. Handling wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The small interior, lack of interior styling, and small trunk (better called hatch) space didn't give it too many creature comforts. But the car is still great overall, and is averaged at an awesome 4.5 stars.

The 2011 Bugatti Veyron really broke the laws of physics. This is the fastest manufactered car, going from 0-62 in 2.5 seconds, and capable of a massive 267 MPH top speed. While the car is fast, luxurious, and comfortable, the $2 million price tag makes it an extremely exclusive car. Get some serious cash before you even THINK about purchasing this car.

The all-new Chevy Volt is a pure hybrid vehicle. The small battery engine uses gasoline, but turns it into electric power, making no emissions at all. The car can get 70+ MPG, depending how fast you go. Plenty of interior space, cargo space, and nimble movement make it a great vehicle. While they are prone to fires, they are still reliable. Perfect 4.5 star rating.
